Ian - Original Ink Drawing (with character tale)

Sale Price: £25.00 Original Price: £30.00

3.5” x 2.5” (ACEO) ink on textured card

Ian likes things to be just so. His routine is carved in stone: the same breakfast every morning, the same newspaper folded the same way, and the same brand of coffee that he buys in bulk to avoid the existential terror of it being discontinued.

He becomes irrationally angry when companies update their logos, claiming it is “an attack on tradition,” and once wrote an angry three-page letter to a Pret A Manger because they’d started leaving the butter pat out of the soup rolls. Nothing unsettles Ian more than arriving at his favourite supermarket to find his usual parking space taken. On those days, he drives home in silence, sits in the dark, and wonders when society began to collapse.

These drawings were created in the process of creating my book 'Margarets Got Beef With Number 26' (also available here). Each one is an original and comes with a copy of their character tale and sent in an embossed envelope.
