Cordelia works in fashion and has to maintain an air of quiet superiority all day. Not because she actually feels superior but because if she lets her guard down for even a second, someone will ask her opinion on sequinned leggings and she will implode.
She spends her days gliding between racks of clothes, making non-committal noises of approval and pretending to care deeply about hem lengths. In reality, she is silently screaming into the void while nodding sagely at yet another client insisting that leopard print is “timeless.”
Outside of work, the only label she truly cares about is the one on a bottle of wine.
These drawings were created in the process of creating my book 'Margarets Got Beef With Number 26' (also available here). Each one is an original and comes with a copy of their character tale and sent in an embossed envelope.
