Tabitha graduated from art school in 2016 and has been “emerging” ever since. Most of her time is spent posting moody photos of wet paintbrushes on Instagram to prove she’s prolific, even though she hasn’t made a single finished piece since her degree show. She attends every private view within a 20-mile radius and calls it networking. Social media has quietly become her full-time job, though she’s fully aware it’s all smoke and mirrors. She wears shapewear that’s two sizes too small, which occasionally cuts off circulation and makes her faint in gallery toilets.
These drawings were created in the process of creating my book 'Margarets Got Beef With Number 26' (also available here). Each one is an original and comes with a copy of their character tale and sent in an embossed envelope.
