Mitch - Original Ink Drawing (with character tale)
3.5” x 2.5” (ACEO) ink on textured card
Mitch ain’t no grass. He’s seen things on the estate that would make a social worker cry, and he likes to think of himself as a sort of unofficial mayor. If you need directions, a hiding spot, or the number of someone who can “sort you out,” Mitch is your man. No one’s really sure where he lives, but he’s always around, like a chain-smoking guardian angel in a knock-off North Face.
He runs his empire out of the local Wetherspoons, which he calls “the office,” and opening hours begin the second he’s demolished the 1,300-calorie large breakfast, washed down with a lukewarm Carlsberg. He says he’s semi-retired, but no one’s quite sure what he ever retired from. Mitch claims he once met Danny Dyer in a pub toilet and has been coasting on the story ever since.
These drawings were created in the process of creating my book 'Margarets Got Beef With Number 26' (also available here). Each one is an original and comes with a copy of their character tale and sent in an embossed envelope.
