Ethan - Original Ink Drawing (with character tale)
3.5” x 2.5” (ACEO) ink on textured card
Ethan is absolutely terrible at speed dating, yet he can’t stop going. Something about the rush of a five-minute emotional gamble gives him just enough dopamine to keep hope alive. He lives for the suspense of will-they-won’t-they tick his box, even though they almost never do.
He’s now genuinely worried he’s dated, or attempted to date, every single woman within a 50-mile radius. Most of them remember him as “the one who brought his own bell” or “the guy who used a chess metaphor that got weird.”
His mates have suggested therapy, but Ethan insists he’s close to cracking the formula. He’s currently workshopping a new opener about being emotionally available and owning a Nutribullet.
These drawings were created in the process of creating my book 'Margarets Got Beef With Number 26' (also available here). Each one is an original and comes with a copy of their character tale and sent in an embossed envelope.
