Sinead went to RADA and was the only Irish girl in her year, so she leaned hard into the accent in every performance. She dreamed of landing roles in gritty Netflix dramas where she could smoke moodily in the rain and deliver lines about betrayal in dimly lit kitchens.
Instead, she was cast in a Hollyoaks spin-off that was cancelled after one season, leaving her with nothing but a novelty hoodie from the wrap party and a bruised sense of dignity. Sinead now spends most of her time at auditions for insurance adverts, still waiting for the phone call that will launch her into the big leagues, or at least a regular slot at The London Dungeon.
These drawings were created in the process of creating my book 'Margarets Got Beef With Number 26' (also available here). Each one is an original and comes with a copy of their character tale and sent in an embossed envelope.
