Hannah is a novelist. When she is not standing in the corner of house parties looking like the aloof, superior hipster silently judging everyone, she is pursuing a career in gallery curation. She is well aware that deciding where to put pictures on walls is the visual equivalent of stacking shelves, but she insists it is “an art form in itself.”
Her own novel has been “in progress” for seven years and currently consists of a colour-coded spreadsheet, three moody sentences, and an Instagram account where she posts cryptic quotes about creativity. Hannah maintains that the book will be finished “when the time is right,” which judging by her track record will be never.
These drawings were created in the process of creating my book 'Margarets Got Beef With Number 26' (also available here). Each one is an original and comes with a copy of their character tale and sent in an embossed envelope.
