Eric has three kids by three different women and has never paid child support for any of them. He insists he is “misunderstood,” but in reality he is just broke, lazy, and allergic to responsibility. Whenever the subject of money comes up he mutters something about “the system being rigged” before changing the topic to his favourite flavour of Monster.
Most of his evenings are spent nursing a flat pint at the local Wetherspoons, telling anyone who will listen that he “nearly made it” as a DJ in the early 2000s. His mates have heard the story so many times they now mouth along with it, karaoke-style, just to pass the time.
Eric claims he is too much of a free spirit to be tied down, but the truth is he still lives in a house share surrounded by posters of Scarface and an Argos weight bench that has never been used. His biggest achievement last year was winning a frozen turkey in a Christmas raffle.
These drawings were created in the process of creating my book 'Margarets Got Beef With Number 26' (also available here). Each one is an original and comes with a copy of their character tale and sent in an embossed envelope.
