Victoria - Original Ink Drawing (with character tale)

Sale Price: £25.00 Original Price: £30.00

3.5” x 2.5” (ACEO) ink on textured card

Victoria feels like she has been pregnant for a hundred years. Her due date passed so long ago she half expects to receive a telegram from the King congratulating her on her service. She is so enormous she has started turning sideways through doors and once got trapped between a chair and the kitchen counter like a reversing lorry.

Every stranger she meets feels the need to tell her how “magical” pregnancy is, which makes her want to hurl her maternity pillow at their smug, well-rested faces. She has not seen her own feet since spring, her ankles resemble overstuffed pasties, and she now cries at adverts for nappies just out of sheer rage. She’s not sure why the hell she agreed to all this.

These drawings were created in the process of creating my book 'Margarets Got Beef With Number 26' (also available here). Each one is an original and comes with a copy of their character tale and sent in an embossed envelope.
