Matilda is as straight-talking as they come. She suffers no fools, regards everyone with the same frosty judgement, and has been known to tell colleagues to lay off the biscuits at tea break while looking them dead in the eye.
She is not one to mince her words and once told her manager his “team-building day” was nothing more than organised loitering. At Christmas she informs people exactly which presents are useless before they have finished unwrapping, and she once ended a date mid-dessert by announcing, “This isn’t going anywhere, you’re boring me.”
People describe her as blunt, but Matilda prefers the term “efficient.” In her mind, the world would be a better place if everyone just said what they meant and stopped wasting time pretending to like Battenberg.
